We typically don't disrespect teams the Colts are playing. Just bad ones. I'll be showing the Vikes or Saints plenty of respect.

We just think the Jets are bad.

It's not everyone...just your team. - DZ

Dear Jets Fans:

Congratulations for your playoff successes this season. Of course your team has "chances" to upset the Colts next Sunday.

Most of all, thank you for making all the irritating San Diego fans on other websites look foolish. I think that the new nickname for that franchise should be the "San Diego One-and-Dones".
Three times, as favorites and at home, they have now lost since 2004 in the playoffs in the first game. Perhaps their fans will refrain from using such trite terms in their boldly stated predictions of how their rivals are going to perform.

But I wouldn't bet on it!

I'm rooting for the Colts to win it all. Just to make all the thousands of posters on various websites eat their words concerning various policies of Indianapolis Colts' management this season. (Not that very many of them actually have the integrity to acknowledge being mistaken or in error--the Colts will probably have to win the next three Super Bowls for most of them to acknowledge that Indy's strategies have any merit.)

It's one thing to be so confident of your team, which you should be, the colts ARE the best team in the NFL, there's no question there but to say that the other team is an awful team that your playing is disrespectful and just plain WRONG...I hope you eat some serious crow for this so called analysis of the game... - JetsFan

Nice post. I am great friends with the Jets head of PR and forwarded him your post. I'm sure the Jets will enjoy reading about how awful the fans think they are. Thanks for the motivation! - jetg1999@aol.com

I think it's cute how no Jets fans are jumping up to comment on my new post today. Had I known that this post was going to attract Jets fans, I would have gone to the trouble to loading it up with all the stats and facts necessary. I won't make that mistake again this week.

Catching up on the some overnight points:

1. Why do I think Wayne will run by Revis? Because he already did. Twice. Once Revis had to grab him for a penalty, and the other Manning just missed hitting him for a touch down.

2. Again, @Jets 108, same argument as before. The Ravens and Chargers made similar kinds of mistakes, that's true. The Colts blasted the Ravens. The Jets barely squeezed by on the strength of two gimmie FG misses. I'd say the situations are not analogous.

3. The Saving Private Ryan thing would be more troublesome, but the Colts have already done this twice this decade. They love to let a team into the playoffs only to crush them. Go ask Denver fans about it.

Finally, let me encourage all you Jets fans to read (and weep) over today's new post on the Jets offense verses the Colts defense. Let me warn you though, it uses numbers, so put on your thinking caps.

Trust me. You guys are in trouble.

Trust us Jets fans.

The Colts will not overlook the Jets. They will not pull a Sandy Ego and come in unprepared.

There is not a team in the league, the Colts want to smack more than the Jets. - gizzardfanny

To douchebag invasion! Seriously? You invade Colts blogs to act like asshats? Congratulations.

You aren't here, if we don't lay down and let you in. Here's a clue: It's a trap!

Him: dude
Me: yes dude
Him: how’s your recollection of “Saving Private Ryan?”
Me: fair
Him: hehe … I’m not sure I’m remembering the movie correctly, but ever since I saw the Colts tank against the Jets, I can’t shake the analogy of the arc in the movie where Tom Hanks lets that german guy go, and then he comes back later and kills Hanks’ men :-)
Me: lol … so the jets are the german guy?
Him: exactly … not sure if it could possibly play out that way, but man, I could totally see the Colts’ sphincters tighten if they had the Jets in a close game going into the 4th. - An Obserer

Honestly, for them to feel that a 15-0 team is incapable of blasting them is amazing. They did lose seven games this year. Beating the Chargers was more about matchups. The Jets matched up really well with the Chargers. Not as much for the Colts. - dmstorm22

This is the best you can bring?

Did you not just watch the NFL replay that showed your team being almost completely dominated by a Colts defense that was playing at about half strength? Three of the guys that held your vaunted rushing attack to three points in the first half might not EVEN BE ACTIVE next Sunday.

Your offensive line completely forgot to block the best pass rushing DE in the game not once, but TWICE.

Ramon Humber, Fili Moala, Ervin Baldwin and Aaron Francisco kept your offense out of the endzone for three quarters. Who? My point exactly.

Please show me where in any of that you get the confidence that you are absolutely going to win this weekend? And that is even before we discuss the Colts offense, which did not seem to have a great deal of trouble moving the ball against you.

In closing, kindly go eat a bag of dicks Jets fandom. - Crizzle

"It isn't homerism if you're right. "
Right or wrong, it's hubris. Possibly the greatest hubris I've ever seen. And I've seen Bush/Cheney.

We can only hope the Colts are half as full of themselves as the author of this blog. Good luck on Sunday. - StvDoe
