I agree that the analysis has been great, but still worry that too much weight is given to the stats. I like them for trends, but things like Pythagorean wins are far too rearward looking. There is really no way to predict what will happen on any given sunday, which is is why this streak is so incredible. - J-DC

Totally agree. I don't consider it pandering, and don't want you to ever pander. I would be happy to donate, expecially in this crappy economy where I make an embarrassingly good living for my and my wife.

Just keep up the good work and great analysis. - AnHero

Thank you all for the encouragement.

The day will come when you can do your part to keep 18to88 alive. I have a couple of book situations developing. If such a day comes that I get one of them out (and that day will come), remember all the free stuff we've given out, and buy one!

This team is easy and fun to write about. That helps. Beyond that, I figure interest in the Colts will never be higher, so now's the time to shine. Fortunately, my awesome wife believes in what we are doing and why, so that gives me a lot of freedom.

Thank you all. The encouragement the last few years has given me the courage to try some cool stuff. I think everyone will like the results when they see the light of day.

You all are the best. - DZ

#9 is outrageously funny--the final line--but #1 is just nuts.

They could win 99-0, sever Manning's head and march around the field with it on the end of a pike while a giant Dungy burns in effigy at midfield, and that fan base will not be ignited. Throw in free wings and beer, and maybe you're onto something.... - Bob M

I am once again reduced to watching on my laptop, lapping up the infrequent 2-minute live clips interspersed with 10-minute chunks of jabbering heads.

Can't think of a compelling argument for barging in on my neighbors--either for explaining to the missus why she has to put the kids to bed solo or why the neighbors have to watch a Colts game with me. (Not like I am very good company when watching a game.) Maybe I can subtly check to see if they'll be watching anyway.... - Bob M

I agree with the sentiments expressed above. This site is, bar none, the best source for Colts' analysis (and homerism) on the web. I wouldn't recommend charging for access (for obvious reasons) but maybe offer page-sponsorships like FO and PFR? - BP

I just read an article that said it would be smart for the Colts to rest their starters. I heard Dilfer on ESPN say the same thing yesterday. Before Caldwell announced he would be playing the starters this Thursday just about every analyst talked about the Colts losing momentum and they had all these comparisons to 2005. It's like these sports writers disagree with teams just to create drama. Even if it contradicts what they were saying last week.

I still watch ESPN so I can hear any news that's going on, but when it comes to analysis they just keep getting worse and worse. Their Tiger Woods coverage just about makes me sick. - 35er

I must concur with everyone else. You guys have kicked it up a notch the last couple weeks, and the site is better than ever! I have been spreading the word for those not "in the know" since the past off-season!

Being somewhat fair and subjective is great too, but you do have the word Homerism in the banner for your site, so stop trying so hard at the prognostication! I told you guys to have a little more heart before we went down to play Houston without #93, and look how that turned out? Granted it wasn't easy but they played brilliantly when we had too.

19. Watch for greatness, as usual, from #18. He will do whatever it takes. He wants perfection, and he can almost taste it at this point. He knows this game is the key to getting there, that they can maybe manufacture wins the following 2 weeks without 4 quarters from the starters, but that they have to go all out on Thursday night with whatever players are available.

20. Watch for # 93 to be on the field. Maybe Mathis' misses the game, and maybe Freeney only plays situationally, but I don't see him missing this game.

It's pretty rare to find any information source that is consistently well-informed, funny and has actual opinions and balls to get behind them. This is also on my short list of sites I would pay for (again, not recommending you do so) - psvirsky

As you guys know I've always thought the world of this site and think the both of you do an amazing job.

However, the last several weeks you have taken it to another level. Really outstanding work, thank you. It's become probably the only website I would totally pay to subscribe for if I had too (I'm not suggesting you should start requiring subscriptions, though you could make it optional I suppose and let those of us that love it help to reward you and incentivize you to do even more.

Until that day, you have my Deepest gratitude.

THANKS! - Westside Rob
