And I don't think Gonzo will be back this year at all. Even if he could recover in time, it might be better if he just IR'd and got fully healthy for next year. Hopefully he can get a couple games to knock the rust off before the playoffs start. Josh. Polian is probably thinking that Thomas was probably a better option than many of the other free agent defensive players out there. He has been here in the system, so if/when he plays it should be a fairly seamless transition.
