Just want to leave this quote from the NYT Week 7 Matchups in here:

"Forcing the Rams to play the rested, healthy, post-bye Colts is like asking the wounded gazelle to wait in a narrow canyon until the cheetah catches its breath." - jpjandrade

19) Watch for the turnstyle. The Rams' offensive line is, well, offensive. Expect the Colts to get plenty of penetration, with or without blitzing.

20) Watch for the personal fouls. Incognito has a short temper, and seems to pick up a personal foul or two when the wheels start falling off for the Rams.

21) Watch for the turnovers. The Rams don't seem to do a very good job of protecting the football, especially on the ground. They are 29th in the league with a TO differential of -5, and have lost 9 fumbles. (The defense has recovered 3 fumbles and has 5 INTs; the offense has lost 9 fumbles and has given up 4 INTs.)

22) Watch for bad drivers. Especially in the rain, St. Louis drivers are terrible. Don't expect to get anywhere quickly, especially the Poplar Street Bridge. If you're in town, watch for cars to run red lights, which seems to be the state sport.

23) Watch for baseball fans. St. Louis is a great baseball town - one of the best. St. Louisans know baseball as well as fans from any city anywhere. Unfortunately, that intimate baseball knowledge doesn't translate into football knowledge. Thus, you get a fanbase calling for the benching of Kurt Warner in favor of Marc Bulger, when it was clear all along (as it still is) that the problem was the Offensive Line.

24) Watch for friendly fans. On the other hand, while St. Louisans are more baseball fanatics than football, they are at least congenial. St. Louis is still a midwestern city. Don't expect the Foxboro/Oakland/Philly treatment.

Oh, and as I've said before: welcome to St. Louis, Colts fans! If anyone has any questions about the area, let me know. I won't be able to make it to the game (my band has a gig Sunday afternoon, and I have 2 kids and games at the Ed Jones Dome are more expensive than even LOS), but if I can be of assistance to anyone, get in touch. - Chip Bennett

You could be right, this could be the first time in years that we leave our opponent scoreless (not counting the 23-0 victory against the Titans last year, because it was a bench vs bench game). And the best part is, it would be ON THE ROAD :) - Fpacheco

Steven Jackson is still a beast and an elite RB IMO. It's just a shame his best years are being wasted. I suspect he's an upgrade over 3/4 of the league's backfields. When Ladanian Tomlinson wants to feel like a winner, we hears a Steven Jackson jersey.

Crap, I think Jeff Fisher just gave me a whole new category of insult. (Actually, when LDT wants to feel like a winner, he wears a Mike Hart jersey. ouch) - Bob M

I read recently that if they build a second arch McDonald's will move their HQ there....

Well, it's *almost* funny. - Bob M
