How can you not notice it! Is it not spraying virtual dirt all over your screen twice(!) everytime you visit any football site? - LukeM

But I have to say I cannot key the next one I see--it'll be my wife's. Here in Seattle they are ubiquitous. Like casts, bandages, and ice packs in Fred Taylor's house.

Is anybody else going to key the next Subaru they see in a parking lot? That god-damned ad is fucking everywhere. - LukeM

But I just think it's more likely for the Pats/Ravens matchups. They probably had this one penciled in a month ago, but it's less vital today, don't you think? We can win without him.

This just in: Fred Taylor injured! Who'd have guessed THAT!?!? Ankle surgery, out indefinitely, but not IR. Yeah, because 32 year-old RBs recover so well. Especially injury-plagued ones. He had 45 carries this year and the next two rushers didn't total that together. I like Sammy Morris and Faulk, but LoMo is another fragile back they'd be wise to not rely too much on.

Tommy, gear up for 50 passes a game. Indy D, gear up for your specialty. - Bob M

Remember back to 2006 with Bob. Remember how the Colts randomly brought him back just to play NE and then he missed another month or so?

They'll bring him back when they think they need him even if it costs him another few weeks.

I think that's this week. - DZ

Playing in a theater near you!

But not in Nashville this weekend. These guys are so careful, they'll only bring him back if he's 110% (like all true NFLers) or the game is of huge import (Pats game 3 years ago, after which, we lost him for another two months, IIRC). I just don't see it happening for Tenn, whom we can beat without him. (Unless Caldwell assumes they'll run the Johnson/White/Bironas wildcat 90% of the time--they are a threat to score 7 or 3 any time they touch the ball!)

21 might suit up, but I don't see him playing the mascot role well. If he's in pads, he's likely playing. So he may be a "gametime decision" to keep 'em guessing, but I don't think he'll play. Too important for later in the season, especially the two-game gauntlet of Balt/NE. My $0.02. - Bob M

Re: The 3 receivers all on the left/right formation.

I have seen that happen before. The Colts also used that formation in that San Diego rain game back in 2007. Literally all of our receivers were out, so the Colts had to use new wrinkles to have a chance.

I am glad to see the Colts use that formation in a non-emergency situation though. It's a whole lot of fun to watch. - Cass
