Orlovsky not at practice

Mike Chappell reports that Dan Orlovsky didn't take the field today:

As players began positional work this afternoon, the only quarterbacks on the field were backup Curtis Painter, Peyton Manning, who was in sweats and still on the mend from Sept. 8 neck surgery, and Jarrett Brown, who’s on the practice squad.

The reason for Orlovsky’s absence wasn’t immediately known. However, his wife is expecting triplets. Prior to the Colts’ Dec. 4 game with New England, Orlovsky told The Star his wife was due in about a month.

UPDATE: Dan is now the proud father of triplets!  Congrats to the Orlovskys!
